Business Week financial planning columnist Robert Barker says consumers preparing for retirement should be selective about the books they read that offer investment advice. Not all book publishers have the best intentions of their readers at heart. Barker says consumers looking for investment advice should avoid the book by Stephen M. Pollan and Mark Levine entitled, "The Die Broke Complete Book of Money." But he endorses "You're Fifty--Now What" by Charles Schwab and ghostwriter Bo Caldwell.
