New Rules on IRA Distributions: They're Tough to Find and Apply

Thanks to lengthened life-expectancy tables, which reduce the amount people have to withdraw annually from their individual retirement accounts or 401(k)s, taxpayers are watching their money continue to grow in such accounts. For many people, however, these tables are hard to come by, despite the Internal Revenue Service's plans to speed printed publication of the new tables for early distribution. The agency notes that interested taxpayers can find the new information on the Internet.
