SEPs Make Investing for Retirement Easy
Investor's Business Daily (03/02/01) Vol. 105, No. 8 p.B5; Korn, Donald Jay

Simplified employee pension (SEP) plans offer an easy and manageable way for people to invest for retirement. SEP accounts can be opened by anyone and are simple to start. Individuals or business owners with qualified incomes simply complete a short form. Brokerages, banks, insurers, and mutual fund companies can offer assistance with the paperwork, and some will even serve as a guardian for the account. Investors may contribute up to 15 percent of their self-employment income.
