GAO Reports on Drug Cards

A report by the Government Accounting Office reveals that prescription drug discount cards save consumers an average of 10 percent. The study was conducted in response to Democratic criticism of President Bush's proposed Medicare discount drug card program, which Bush says would save recipients 15 percent to 25 percent.
