Yes, my name is actually Ira and we started this site to help others learn about all of the various elements dealing with retirement with the goal of improving one’s knowledge and preparation so that they can retire happier.  We are not certified financial planners, we are actual people  transitioning from working to retirement. Over the course of the last 25 years of planning and investing towards our retirement, we learned a lot and wish we had the chance to go back in time to tell our younger selves what to focus on, and how to avoid the pit-falls laying ahead. We made some good choices and some that turned out to be quite costly and we want to help others from our mistakes.  IRA.com will be adding content and services as we get feedback from our family of visitors.
